Pastor Alisha Burch

 

Hi. I’m Rev. Alisha Burch. As the pastor of Shiloh United Methodist Church I am glad to welcome you to our website. I hope you find it easy to navigate and we would love a visit from you in our church one Sunday.

 

I’ve been at Shiloh United Methodist Church a short time, but I already love the family atmosphere. I am originally from Alabama, but as a child I moved around often and I’ve spent the majority of my life here in Georgia. I did receive my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!). I earned my Master’s of Divinity at Candler School of Theology at Emory. I am still in the ordination process with the United Methodist Church, and one day I hope to become an ordained elder.

 

Personally, I love to spend time with my family. My husband is a Special Education teacher and football and soccer coach. We spend time together when we can. We dote on our only dog, whom we adore. We love spending time on the lake (when the water is high) and being active. We both enjoy serving the church with the gifts God has given us.

 

I look forward to seeing you in church. If you visit I hope you feel as welcome as I have.
